Dear Future Member,
We're Kelvin and Mandy Slater, the founders of Slater Hospitality. With 21 years of experience as restaurateurs in Atlanta and celebrating 21 years of marriage, our adventure began just two weeks after we said "I do" — by jumping headfirst into opening our first restaurant. It's been a thrilling ride, not recommended for the faint of heart, but absolutely worth every moment.
Our journey has led us to create not only the L.O.A. Social Club but also to manage The Roof at Ponce City Market, home to Skyline Park, 9 Mile Station, 12 Cocktail Bar, RFD Social, and several vibrant event spaces. Our inspiration grew as we envisioned something unique for our beloved city—a vision that crystallized in 2018 when the developers of The Interlock project approached us to develop their rooftop. Thus, the concept of L.O.A. Social Club was born.
Our aim was simple yet ambitious: to offer Atlanta a place like those we admired in other major cities, a locale infused with uniqueness—a place that didn’t exist before. After three years of development, interrupted by a global pandemic, L.O.A. opened its doors in June 2022.
Eighteen months into operation, we found ourselves longing to focus on what truly mattered—crafting more intimate, personalized experiences for a select group of individuals. We envisioned a community where like-minded individuals could gather—a haven of inspiration, relaxation, outstanding hospitality, exceptional food and drink, and a stunning setting for social and professional engagements.
L.O.A. Social Club is our heart's work, a special space in our vibrant city where you can truly be known. This is more than an invitation; it’s an opportunity for you to join a community where your presence matters, where you can relax, engage, and be yourself.
